This song is about a guy who meets a girl in the diner… we’ll see what happens :)

This is a very light-hearted song and isn’t supposed to be taken seriously!! I did the English translation the best I could and I’m sorry if you don’t understand Cantonese! I promise the next song I write will be in English :)

Luna: Sighing wont to do anything now. Dagwon wave. Fire.
En: Rai!
Rai: Sorry I’m late. This wave can only stop him for a short time. I’ll direct you to perform the new union.

Geki: Why not dodge?
Rai: En Sempai!
Gaku: Alright. Dagwon really didnt lose.
Geki: You did it. What power.
Ryu: What’s up? You’re hardly this quiet after winning.
Everyone: En!
Rai: En Sempai! What happened? What’s going on?
Luna: It may be because for the machines to release the power of Super Fire Union, they require to absorb a lot of energy at once. En’s body may not be able to withstand this pressure.

蔡卓妍 Charlene Choi – 生還者 Survivor MV (CD Version with Lyrics & Download Link)

Posted on June 24th, 2010 by admin

生還者 / 生还者 ; Survivor
Released 24 August 2009
English & Chinese LYRICS included in Description/Video respectively. :)
And, as requested, the Download Link:
www.sendspace.com/file/mmgghi

gosh, i seriously love this. it’s even better than Two Missing One, to me. :)
this girl just keeps improving! :D :D :D :) )

just HAD to make a “Music Video” for this! XD
however, i had cut off all the guys’ from the respective clips since the lyrics isn’t pointing towards a good guy type of role model,
so i don’t want to accidently pull any awesome artiste in (even though the song is really awesome! :P XD ).
plus, it makes the video/guy-character more ambiguous. :D DD

Storyline:
Charlene Choi used to have a boyfriend whom she married to and was happy and blissful with — until she realised that he has been cheating on her and playing around outside all the time. As much as she loves him, Charlene chooses to step away from the relationship that hurts and blinds her from reality, and be the “Survivor” after it all instead of letting herself get played on longer.

Video starts backwards, with the future, where Charlene is peacefully leaving away to another country from HK International Airport, finally. Then it shows of before that, when she was still married but just found out about being repeatedly cheated behind her back by her own husband. She recalls their happy marriage and the times before that, of their good times at places like the beach where he proposed. The dark scenes of her in the wedding are to represent her trapped inner feelings (due to her not speaking out about her knowing of his cheating to him) of feeling like in her marriage, with the saturated reddish coloured scenes to represent her present trapped feelings and the white pale coloured scenes to be her reponses to the guy (The holding part to be feeling so in need of him that she isn’t thinking of her own hurt feelings). Scene turns to the day she choses to think for herself, and to leave the guy who’s cheating on her without any remorse. After she’s long gone, leavning only their sapphire wedding ring in her diary confessing of knowing the truth, that he then realises how he truly loves her, unlike his other extra-martial flings. The dark scenes still represent her inner feelings, where the sauturated reddish coloured scenes now show her still sad but stronger, and the pale scenes of her reponses and feelings for the guy shows of her breaking away from him who is now screaming and looking for her, while she walks alone… a Survivor from it all.

Survivor – ENGLISH LYRICS:
(Sidenote: The words might seem offensive when it’s in Cantonese-translated-to-English form, however, in Cantonese, the lrycis aren’t actually even offensive at all because it’s all metaphors used. For example, the “b*tch” is actually, when directly translated from its chinese characters of ‘Zhan Li’ and cantonese characters of ‘Ji Lei’, would literally means “War Victory”. In chinese history, there are Battle Cries made with horns and drum instruments from when a battle won. Of course, when put into English, “Showed off me around as a War Victory Cry” sounds really odd and illogical, that’s why it’s translated as “Flaunted me as your b*tch” which sounds more direct and appropriate in english terms. SO… Take the English lyrics with a pinch of salt, kays? XD )

The competitive you, addicted to collecting things, searching everywhere
Gave you a lover, you found it as something interesting to collect, want even more, does not detest
Among your collection, a variety of exhibits, how can you compare
Never worn out, only possess; your eccentric behaviour is despicable

Chorus:
Regret that I once deeply loved you, regret that I was once your dependable other half
But you ruined me, flaunted me as your b*tch

My life has been given to you to kill,
and the heartless you spares no pain

You know how to play good, how many boats have your two feet sunk, but you are used to dealing with it all
The world is not safe with you alive, no period of confinement
Have you ever told me the truth, wished for me
Have you ever felt heartbroken when you think of me

[Chorus]

If a drunken driver causes harm to others, he will still say Im sorry
But look at you, arrogant and unruly, sees crime as fun, the more I look at you, the more I hate you

[Chorus]

Regret that when I met you, I fell into the Devils arms, regret that I once was miserable and looked for death
But you actually have the nerve to see me off to the cemetery, and even thank me
When the heart is completely dead,
the night is bleak and tasteless

爱得起 by Nick Cheung (English & Vietnamese Translation)

Posted on June 19th, 2010 by admin

Song: 爱得起 (To Love and Accept | To Love Completely)
Singer: Nick Cheung
Viet Translator: My Dad
English Translator: Me (Cgem88)

========================
This was one of my videos from a long time ago, but I really like the song and meaning of it so I reupload it again, hope you guys feel the same.

About the Translators:
- My Dad is full Chinese but was raised in Vietnam so he understands both Cantonese, Vietnamese and 80% Mandarin. He is very good with Han-Viet (meaning Vietnamese words that derived from Chinese; therefore, the Vietnamese translation for this is very sophisticated and precise)

- As for the English translation, I used the Vietnamese translation to write it; therefore, some of the meaning might be slightly off, but not too much. I had to use the dictionary for some of the words, but I think my Vietnamese is not that bad and neither is my English ~ I don’t think, hehe ^^;

Anyways, hope you guys enjoy~ I might do more translation video if I have time~ =)
